Novation and Serato have teamed up with BLOC festival to offer one DJ the chance to play a set at their 15000 capacity event. The winner will also receive one of Novation's groundbreaking TWITCH performance controllers (as used by the likes of Lopazz and Rustie).
To celebrate the first birthday of TWITCH, Novation & Serato would like to showcase fresh DJ talent at one London's biggest events. The winner will play on a weekend bill headlined by Orbital, Snoop Dog, Richie Hawtin and Flying Lotus (Orbital and FlyLo both use Novation gear in their live rigs!) All you have to do is upload your 30-minute DJ mix to Mixcloud and tag it "Novation TWITCH competition". The winner will be flown into London with overnight accommodation, culminating with a 60-minute set at BLOC festival itself. BLOC is taking place at the new Pleasure Gardens - part of the London Olympic site - on July 6th-7th 2012.
For the past 20 years Dazed & Confused have been championing mixes from the world's most exciting new artists, producers, labels and DJs. In the past month alone we have featured selections from Chicago house head Tevo Howard, the intergalactic sounds of Brainfeeder records and the bass heavy Numbers-signed Kodiak, to name a few. Now, in collaboration with Sonos, we present the Evolution of Listening, a new mix tape competition giving you the chance to share your hottest 20 minute music selections with the world.
Helping us to unearth the biggest mixes are some of the world's most exciting DJs, including: Andy Votel, techno shapeshifter Actress, new wave, italo and house expert Veronica Vasicka and The 2 Bears' Raf Daddy.

Are you a DJ? Have you ever dreamt about playing at Amnesia? Well, stop dreaming! Amnesia Ibiza invites you to upload a mix and show us what you're musically capable of in 30 minutes. The winner will perform at "El Cierre" at Amnesia and share a booth with some of the biggest names in the industry. Travel and accommodation expenses for the winner and a guest are included in the prize.
To take part, upload a 30-minute mix to Mixcloud. Your mix has to be electro-house or progressive-house.
